Texture! As a photographer, texture makes me swoon! I can feel the grittiness of the sand in this photo, and it makes me long for summer days on the beach. Sand between my toes. Sand in my hair. Sand in my kids' bedsheets when they would fall asleep in the car after sunsets at Old Silver Beach on Cape Cod and not wake up when my husband and I poured them into their beds. Yup, baths could wait for the morning; we always let a sleeping child lie!
What textures evoke memories for you?
